Played some more GTA 4. Found some really good looking places i didn´t notice before. The missions keep the game interesting but nothing really outstanding. At this point everytime i met a new character i know he´s going to be a secret agent, a traitor or whatever. So no much surprises when the first 5 characters in game ended having some secret identity.

Reinstalled Serious Sam II just now so I might check that one out! (haven't played it in many summers)

Started FFXIII yesterday, now a bit over five hours into it.

So far it's been pretty good but there are two bigger problems: linearity and cutscenes, of which there are way too many.

FFXIII is pretty awesome. It's also pretty challenging. I could complete the others without getting killed by any of the storyline bosses but in XIII bosses are tougher.

There are also some stunning locations and combined with amazing music the game is quite an audio-visual experience. Sunleth Waterscape looked so pretty with relaxing music that I didn't want to leave the place.

Amazingly playing games online works again here (it hasn't worked in months) so to celebrate I played a couple rounds of TF2. Also played UT2004 real quick (it was here that I was surprised I actually connected) and COD4 MP for 2 nanoseconds to confirm..

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising

Not a game I would've thought to try but a friend recommended it to me and I'm having a blast so far. Space Marines shooting Orks? Oh hell yes. Also it's not as mindless as some other RTS's where you you just need to right click the enemy to attack or perform tedious micromanaging.. You can just order your units to move near cover and they'll, well, take cover. Pretty cool huh

I'm in Pori and gave Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Call of Duty 5 a try. CoD 5 is pretty much as irritating as CoD 4 but that may be because I tried it on a 50-player server.

BC2 felt much better though. I really like how the things that made BF2 so great are still present and they've improved quite a few things as well.

Company of Heroes

Fuck me, just played one of the early campaign missions and it took me over 2 hours to beat I was being constantly harassed by tanks and enemy troops, I managed to put together a defense but the population limit was low so my defense was spread very thin.. and I didn't have enough population left to form an offensive force, so I actually had to send some of my defense out to die just so I could create a couple of tanks.

CoD 4, needed to remind myself why I don't play it online anymore.

It'd help a lot of they capped the player limit at 16 or something.

Just played the first three levels of Zblood (A Blood-based mod for Zdoom). Worth of every minute  will keep playing it later. I recommend it to everybody that likes Blood.

I've been playing Fallout 3!

It really is pretty good. Similarities to Oblivion are obvious but it's much better. Maybe it's the setting or whatever but gameplay is much more fun, it's better than Morrowind even.

One of the worst games ever. Absolutely horrible.

You must have played it with shit in your eyes, it has some really awesome missions (the only ones I find shitty are those African ones)
