EVERYONE FUCKING DOWNLOAD THE NEW EDUKE32 SNAPSHOT!!

http://wiki.eduke32.com/stuff/eduke32_snapshot_20080516.zip

After installing this, you won't use the keyboard anymore, unless it's for tags. And inserting sprites.

FEATURES!:

UnrealEd-style 3d mode mouse navigation (F5 in 3d mode)
Mouse-driven tile selector (yes you can use the mouse to select a texture now after pressing V twice!)
Mouse-based 3d mode sprite movement, horizontal, vertical and stretching or expanding (hold ctrl, alt or shift and drag sprites)
Mouse-based world modification (hold ctrl + mouse for slope, shift + mouse for panning texture, alt + mouse for scaling textures, tons more, try it out!)

Press F4 in 2D mode to highlight the first wall (slope origin) of a selected sector in yellow
Fixed 3d mode object selection when using Polymost (NOW YOU CAN POINT TO THE FLOOR OR CEILING PROPERLY!!)
New information display for the current selection in 3d mode (Including amount of slope!)
Current map written to mapname_crash.map in the event of a crash

Yes, I was quite impressed with the new features as well.  I'm happy more and more people have been submitting badass patches lately.

-_- All those new features are very good, especially the one that fixes the correct object selection in polymost.
But in a certain way i feel a little dissappointed because i was waiting for a fix for the clipping bug, its imposible to make a good use of transparent tiles because they cancel all the sprites behind them, i know that it must be hard to do because it probably need a whole reviewing of the rendering code but what is more important than that? i hope that the Eduke32 developers fixes that soon.

As many know (i suppost) the new snapshot has a bug which if you are clipping between white lines or anything itīs very possible to get a crash, and in addition if you are using a brightness level higher than 0, windows will be brightned at the same level (Horrible), and the worse thing is that youīll able to solve it only restarting the computer.
Well, i found a solution (after many many crashes) in order to recover the Windows brightness you can start mapster again, put the brightness level in 0 and start to clipping for everywhere in 3d mode, soon or late Mapsterīll crash (guaranteed) and the normal Windows brightness will be back.
