Used to have a '96 pontiac sunfire 2.4L 5-spd. Nice little car. Not as good as what you have, but it was decent. It was chipped to go no more than 125 mp/h (200km/h). Once I hit the top end it would do a wave of surging then lacking of power.
The fuel and coils were electronically controlled, so I had no real way to mechanically bypass them.

What you need is something like this to override the ecu:
(i don't know if this one fits your model, it's only an example)

Got the confirmation today that I'm starting at that new project. Starting 1st of March at the latest, could be sooner if they find a suitable replacement but that's the ultimate deadline. Later than I would've liked, but I guess I can manage one more month...

My shower knob fell off, I tried to fix it but I think the groove in the handle is fucked so it can't grip the mechanism :( Went down to the DIY store to see if I could buy a replacement, and the first thing the guy at the counter said when I showed it to him was "what is it?" so that kinda answered my question. I can get it to work with pliers but still, my attempts at DIY failed. :DOWNBRAVO:

Fill the inside of the knob with epoxy resin and stick it back on before you go to work.
Should be good for your pre-work shower the next morning.

Just don't use it to drive nails afterwards, or you'll eventually crack the resin and it'll fall off again.

or call a local small plumber. They usually have extra parts laying around that they'd probably sell you for a pound or two.

It's cool, the pliers do the job - I wasn't keen on doing too much to it since I was worried about making it worse, but fortunately I can get someone to sort it out monday/tuesday. I did want to fix it myself since it didn't seem too hard, but the DIY store didn't have a replacement and the next place that might of sold one was another town entirely.

Even if you donīt find the right one, you should find one that fits. Here most faucet knobs share the same bore. or take it from another faucet you dont use!

Well he's a Brit, so he can take it off his bathroom faucet, since he doesn't brush his teeth.  ^_^

heh

My front teeth are good, but my molars not. I have a few ones missing and the others are all in, a degree or another, compromised with fixes that are getting old.

I take good care of my teeth and go to the dentist as long as something wrong goes on, but I already should begin to think of implants for them, and itīs both a lot of time and money i dont have.  :-[

Nothing on my body reflects better aging than my molars...

Yeah getting teeth fixed is so damn expensive, it just feels like a waste of money at times
