The latest version I tried was just a couple months ago. I doubt the new one will run anyway unless it relies on different code libraries/OS calls/whatever DLLs I don't know but it seems to be totally incompatible.

Are you running XP or Vista? They both work on it. But if some odd reason your running 98 im told that doesnt.

Anyway, This link will allways give you the latest version of Eduke32, you should try it before you give up.

If you can't run the latest snapshot that Commander linked, then you should try to get the problem fixed.  You can post in the EDuke32 thread at the 3DR forum to get help (or heck, just about any Duke forum).

If your mod is released, people WILL use EDuke32 to play it; for one thing, JFDuke doesn't even work in Vista, which is becoming a common OS like it or not.

I'm not going to bother because I use Win95. I really don't expect you to support that old of an OS. If you really want to, then I will post logs. I don't think it even gets far enough to create a log though :/
