The review is fine, I would only spend some more words on what kinda environments you'll encounter.

Thanks, I'll be sure to detail on that in my next review. Should I edit the review for Risk right now and add that in?

Go ahead. I'll post it up at D4E when you're done.

Oh, I'll make a new .zip-file for the map. I got a stupid installprogram in a language I don't understand. Also, is the readme-file missing?

That's the website of the author. All the maps there are inside an install program that unzips the map to the directory of your choice. And yes, there's no readme files included.

Here's the (updated) zip.

You should playtest dm maps online before reviewing them. Cigam is a gem, and should score well in the 80.

EDIT: same with chuckles.

EDIT2: here's the chuckles review I did well over a year ago:

Quote
Chuckles is a medium-sized deathmatch map with a whole lot of teleporters and rockets to keep you busy. The best tactic here is to get the atomic health, get a portable medkit, shoot 300 rockets in the teleporters and then roam around with a shotgun. Rockets will be flying around your head in no time. There aren't any central areas here, more like central corridors with essential items you want to get your hands on. The main area there is, check the shot, will be a major hazard when there are enough rockets flying around - so you'd best avoid that at all costs. All in all chuckles.map will surely give you a kick - if only for the slightly different approach when it comes to rpg usage. 94/100

note: turn off mouseaim when shooting targetlessly in teleporters, so you rockets will go in a straight line and not hit the floor on the other side.

With who? ;)

I have been a bit skeptical with my scores - were it my own site I personally wouldn't give a score at all, just a review. Hell, I was originally overscoring maps and now I'm underscoring them ;) Still, I'm not quite sure Chuckles should deserve such a high score anyway, keeping design in mind. Trimming is off in many areas.

In deathmatch map it's not a big issue, usually you won't even have time to look at the pretty pictures. In many cases empty design is even better, since it makes the pathways and such more clear.

But yeah, the chuckles design isn't that great. Still, for the hectic (and awesome) gameplay alone it should definately get a 80+, the only people that download deathmatch maps to see if they look good are SP players that are bored.
