Orange Box Mistake?
« on: January 06, 2008, 08:34:48 AM »
I just bought my copy today. I open it and what do I find but not one but TWO Quick Reference Cards. Each with their own unique CD Key. Is this a mistake? At first I thought the second key would be for the extra copies of HL2 and EP1, but no. I installed only one cd key and it asked me if I wanted to gift HL2 and EP1 right away. And then immediately after that it installed the other three games. All without asking for a second CD Key. So it must be a mistake, right?

If so I have 2 copies of The Orange Box for the price of one. I could sell the key and get my money back and have it for free!

What do you bet that somewhere there's a box that has no CD Key at all?

Nah, I'm sure the stuff is thrown inside by a human, so it could mean that the person doing the package didn't notice that he/she grabbed two cd keys, but in the next box he/she included a cd key normally.
