Bullshit aside it's a pretty good map Really MSANDT-ish with good use of the tc's new features. The trailer was a bit dull in my opinion (would've been better if you didn't put so much pressure on the music and just kept the gunfire sounds from the clips you were using) but nicely showcased your work, so I'd say it did what it was supposed to do.

The staging was quite good IMO. Instead using the same metallica-grabbag music and bullet sounds, he sticked to a 90´s .mod soundlike music.

Looks very similar to some other things you've made in Duke, and all your "winter" based maps are your best maps, so yeah, it looks cool.

That snow falling straight needs to be updated indeed though.

Also, is that the waterfall texture from Caribbean Life ?

it's the standard bullshit really - all of us are caught up either at work, school or whatever to divert much attention to the project. I've got a holiday coming up in 2 weeks so I'll be able to divert some much needed attention to it and IW then (there honestly isn't much left for it to be released really)

The only disapointing thing is that the new multiplayer code in Eduke32 hasn't been worked on to my knowledge so multiplayer is pretty much broken which is a huge disapointment since I spent alot of time coding stuff in for that mode. Hopefully down the line the new system will be fixed...but in the meantime I won't let that hold back the release of episode 1 in anycase. It's just a shame since I know once people try the invasion maps and stuff they'll come back to the MP many times (That's not to say the SP isn't a primary focus - I've kept my Snow map under wraps almost completely because there's nothing else quite like it at the moment)

School is not very busy here, but nowadays it's like when I get time to relax I'd rather play games instead of making them. It's not gonna get better in summer, in July I'll have a student job from mondays to saturdays..

Yeah, I know what you mean.
It seems to have been broken for about a month now. I do know that TX is quite committed to fixing it though so once it is working it will work very good.
As I am looking forward to playing this mod on MP.

It looks like you guys have a lot of surprises for the player.
What cracks me up though is the over the top narcissism that dominates the mod, but I take that with a pinch of salt anyway.

I havent been here much lately, so I have probably missed a lot of updates. Seeing how you all are quite busy I guess there isnt an approximated release date yet, no?
