I'm not sleeping! I'm just resting my eyes!

But seriously, It's not that I've been too busy in real life to work on Ultra3D, I've been too busy with Ultra3D to post in the forums! There, some good news for all of you! Fakir, I really can't believe you were playing that terrible developer's version of Ultra3D that I sent you! In fact, I can't believe that it even functions, because of all the missing art/sounds/etc... Anyway, I'm glad that you're still interested in Ultra3D. Oh, and BTW, I'm really busy with my maps for Ultra3D, so is there anyone who you think will want to finish your map, Fakir?

I've done quite a bit of mapping in Ultra3D lately, and level 4, "Slaying in the Suburbs" is almost done! At this time of writing, the map is at about 940 sectors out of 1024, but I have about 700 walls left and plenty of sprites, so I can still detail it and add the last few rooms/areas to the map. Also, the map is pretty huge. It takes up most of the BUILD grid, because of the expansive, not to mention beautiful, outdoor locations. Also, I've been doing some lesser work too, like importing new textures, making new sounds, coding, etc... Anyway, Ultra3D is on the right track. But remeber, I still want mappers. If you can map well, I want you to be a part of the Ultra3D team!

Okay, I was busy again, so I wasn't here to stop this spamming. Oh well, I'll let you have your fun this time. But now, back on topic.

Nice edit of that old U.S. Army poster, James. I think people get the message loud and clear when they see it. Although it makes me look American, which I'm not. Whatever.

Highwire, eh? What's his email, Fakir? I like your style alot, so if this Highwire guy's is the same or similiar, I'd like very much for him to finish your map.

Fakir, I feel kinda bad that I never sent a better developer's version of Ultra3D to you. Well, at least you got an idea of what the effects are like.

In Ultra3D news, unfortunately, I still haven't got the vehicle code working very well yet. I want to be able to force the player into an "ifp" state like the jetpack state. I've obviously used a complex system of inventory flags to try to accomplish this effect, but it's very hard to do unless you use EDuke, which I really don't want to. I may use EDuke for my next Duke mod/TC, but not Ultra3D. I want everyone to be able to play it.

This post is getting long enough, see you guys later. Well, not "see" but you get the idea.

I hope he is. He's the guy who made City Terror, right?

Alright, great news everyone. I got the vehicles working! And I only used Duke 1.3D technology to do it! It's not quite bug-free yet, as sometimes some strange things might happen when you exit the vehicle, but I know what's wrong and I'll fix it tonight. Anyway, they work very well. The only vehicle that I've added is hover cars, but I think that's all I need. Running over/through enemies and scenery is really fun! Splat!
