MD3 texture corruption problems
« on: January 22, 2010, 01:40:48 AM »
I've imported an md3 weapon model into IW, got the animations and textures all set up correctly .etc .etc; in Mapster the textures look fine and how they should appear:

However, ingame they look like this:

Anybody any clues to help me? I've tried resizing the textures, changing their formats, making sure their dimensions are a multiple of 2...a few textures appear correctly but 2 sets of textures (the model has 6 surfaces all together) appear completely skewed.

Hmmm I remember having problems like these when importing a double barrel shotgun for DT. Can't really help you out because it always looked bad, not only ingame. When I corrected it it looked fine in every case. It was about assigning a separate file for each part of the gun.
