Looks like I have an obsession with reflective surfaces. Here's my little puzzle and a tricky mirror; I had to join some non-adjacent sectors to model the bevels. Also there's a couple of minor fixes throughout the map. 120 sectors by now. Who's next?

So far it goes strictly linear. Personally I would like to have the gameplay more non-linear (maybe at some point Duke needs to return to the cathedral), if it's feasible in a CBP like this.

Dammit. The mirror was tested to save properly in Mapster32 (it was created in LEBuild), but that was the newest version which seems to preserve wall connections more accurately than previous releases. If this occurs again, I recommend to download the latest M32 release from http://dukeworld.duke4.net/eduke32/synthesis/

Here's the fixed version (sector order was optimized to work correctly in all editors, I hope):

I'll have another go! Really impressed with the work that's been put in so far. The mirrored metal surface with the pentagonal holes is a nice touch.

Here's the latest version.

My cells have disappeared again; I've put my sectors in a wrong order. Sorry for this. I should have tested them with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER in Mapster to ensure that they'll remain under all conditions...
I've attached the fixed map.

...minor fix- when I was building the little alcove behind the yellow key door I moved one of the pigcops out of the way and forgot to put him back. Craig- your fix for the mirrored surface seems to have worked. :)

I don't think anyone else is going to have a turn right now. You might as well have another go, Craig.

Well, I feel ready to put another 20 sectors in. I'll add one more pentagonal cell and look what else I can improve the map with.

I've got some art work, that may be of use in a chathedral. It was originally indented for my own map - if interested, say sum'zen

180 sectors reached. Beside a new pentagonal vent, I've been working on existing locations to add more shadows and other details and fix some textures.

2 Nexus: I've replaced your sprites masking the secret buttons with translucent masks, since the opaque sprites were nearly undistinguished from the surrounding texture; fat chance players will notice the buttons behind them.

2 Phoenix: Pretty interesting. I would take a look at your tileset, maybe we'll make use of it. However user art makes things more complicated, so sometimes it's better to use standard tiles only.

Even if you do not need it for this map, use it for another project. There are no strings attached. Signs are in German or Russian. Art is from actual museums, tile bases are from AutoCAD or other games.
