Anyone tried this new feature? I saw the thread on Duke4.net and it was just amazing.

Wow, those shots look amazing!  (y)

I'm very tempted to start mapping for Duke again. A RoR feature was all I needed to finish my Valparaiso map (don't know if you guys remember it, it was the one with that experimental lift on it).

So, the only thing I need in order to use this feature is to have the latest Mapster32 and EDuke32 versions, right?

I couldn't help to start a small map for it either, just to try stuff out. It's a great feature, I wish it'd come a few years earlier when I had alot more time to work on maps and such :)

I feel like a heretic for not having even tried the effect :/

The shots look cool though (y)

Shots look ace! Of course this only works when the sector doesn't have slopes but still!

What slope limitation are you talking about?  Henri K. is using RoR with slopes, as you can see in the third screenshot of this thread:

I meant if you make a room that is entirely RoR with another, you can make island sectors that are sloped. I mean the actual ceiling or floor which transfers to the other room.

But if you think about it, that isn't a 'that bad' limitation. Damn, I wish I have time to try this stuff out :/
