My music
« on: June 28, 2012, 06:28:10 AM »
Hi guys!

It's years since I've been active here, but those of you who were hanging out here back in the days(I'm talking around 2003) know that I do a bit of guitar playing. I've been running my YouTube channel for almost a year now where I post performances of songs that I currently practice, and songs that I perform in concerts.

It's jazz music, so it's probably outside the field of interest for most people here. But for those who have an open mind, feel free to tune in to my channel and have a listen.

Here is my latest performance:

Hey I left your vid in the background while doing other things and it was really enjoyable. Good job!

That's cool, I don't listen to jazz but I've always found jazz soothing; as a kid I couldn't stand any other kind of music. The video makes me wanna learn at least one jazz song on guitar (I can only play blink 182 songs; nearly all of them in fact).

Thank you for the positive responses!

I guess that's why jazz music isn't as commercially successful as other genres, because most people find it works best as background music.

Either way, I'm glad you took the time to listen to it  -_-

Yeah you could say that all jazz sounds the same but then again you could say that about any genre.

I like it! I'm not a jazz-expert (aside from having a CD from Herbie Hancock and Erroll Garner) but this is definitely soothing. :)

I've started messing around with Cubase. Here is something totally minimalistic I came up with.
